Who you'll be working with

Meet the Light Unfolding team

Your child is matched with the clinician who suits them, and that clinician gets to know them properly. Here's a bit about the Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists behind Light Unfolding.

We're growing! Professional photos for our newest clinicians are on their way — for now, get to know them in their own words below.

Founder & Speech Pathologist

Catherine

I started this practice because parents came to me frustrated with rushed appointments and minimal communication; I wanted to serve my clients and their families better. So, I built Light Unfolding — a practice where your child's clinician truly knows them, the therapy comes to them, and you're never left guessing.

  • Certified with both Speech Pathology Australia and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • Works with children on their speech, language, communication and cognitive goals
  • Serving families across metropolitan Adelaide & online

Speech Pathologist

Gift

Gift has a deep passion for building meaningful connections with the children she works with, creating opportunities for learning through child-led play, and empowering the families around them. Her background in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience gives her a unique perspective on the relationship between behaviour and communication — helping her translate evidence-based practice into engaging, practical, family-centred support that reaches well beyond the therapy session. Outside of work, she's a creative, outdoors-loving person: writing songs, singing and listening to music, hiking, and enjoying a good coffee.

  • Works with clients aged 2–21, for regular sessions or full speech and language assessments
  • Currently has immediate capacity
  • Serving the Southern Adelaide region (from the CBD down to Myponga and into the hills), or online
